Easter Holiday
Tuesday, March 25th, 2008We organised a family holiday away with lots of our friends. A great turnout saw us away to Lakes Entrance with 12 adults and 3 children. The trip was not as long as we thought it might be, with a stop in Sale for lunch and then again just down the road to meet with the Purcells our only breaks.
We stayed at Echo Beach caravan park, which is just off the main road on RoadKnight street. Steve and Sharkey too their bikes down for some exercise and the mad fireman decided running was easier for him.
We had 4 nights down there, heading down Thursday morning and heading back Monday.
The first families down there were the Us and the Purcell’s. We met up on the way down just outside of Sale and had lunch and cruzed down the rest of the trip together. Later that night saw the Chaffe’s, Zammit’s and Sharkey’s join us, with Katy and Brett staying in Melbourne Thursday night to finish work on their rental property.
In all it was a great weekend away, all the Kids were well behaved, and the adults, well some of them were better behaved than others. I think the plan for next year is to head down the great ocean road way for another group adventure.
All of the photos are available at The Gallery on the Whitesquare website, but here are a select few containing Lachie.

The girls are out for lunch, and the boys look after the kids.

Easter morning, hunting for eggs.

It was a hard day hunting for eggs,

Our last night saw the remaining couples head out for dinner.

And finally on the way home, sleepie time
