And so this is Christmas, another year older and a whole heap bigger.

Take trip down memory lane and look at last years christmas, then look at the growth in 12 months.

This year saw Kim and Garth in London, and Mark and Leonie spending the day with Leonie’s family, so it was a bit more quiet (or so the neighbours will say).  Glen and Dianna were able to leave geelong earlier this year, and as they already had Jordan were able to be here for a much larger amount of time than usual.

Lachie got spoiled again, but this year at least had some fun opening up the presents.

As usual the food was great, and with the new pergola up, we got to spend a lazy Christmas lunch outside in the sun.

Boxing day saw Mark and Leonie come over for a “leftover” lunch, and it gave Lachie another chance to get outside in his sandpit.

We have a very special occasion early next year, so much so that we all need to get dressed up, and yesterday arrived a little package for a little man containing a little suit.

Here are a few quick snaps of him trying it on for the first time, it’s a bit long in the legs and he was a bit tired and cranky to pose properly, but at least he still looks cute. In his suit..

More posing around the loungeroom.  These were just to cute, so had to share them with everyone.

We now have a little man who can pose and even looks at the camera now.  I guess he has grown up with it flashing in his face so has had little chance ot not knowing what it is.

Last night there was a magic sunset that left the sky glowing pink.

It was really trippy, the whole backyard had a pink tinge to it, and upon heading out the front door we found out why.

It did actually happen, something that got organised actually occured and the 2nd monthly party with all our friends went ahead.

This month’s party was actually the November one deferred until eary December to allow the Collins’ to host with a Christmas theme.

We saw Santa come on a fire truck, and the kids all got presents.  Even the adults got into the festive spirit with a present Lucky dip game that saw people leave with things they might not have expected.

It was a great day with BBQ, Beer and good people.  The kids had a ball, and this year Santa did not.
