Easter this year was lots of fun, Lachie really got into the idea of hunting around for eggs and got wayyyy to many.

We then headed down to Grandpa’s place for a BBQ lunch, and more egg hunting.

Lachie’s 2nd birthday party was at home on the 6th of September.

A great turn out of family and friends had a big BBQ in the back yard, while lots of presents were being un-wrapped inside.

Lachie has is now really understanding the whole present thing, and evertime someone new turned up, he ran up to them and grabbed the present.  He would then turn tail and try and fine somewhere to sit down to tear it open, but lucklily mum or dad were on hand to direct him back to the new arrivals to ensure that he gave them a cuddle and thanked them for their gift before shredding the wrapping paper.

March has come and gone again, and Kim had her birthday.  A small group of friends attended, and the boys enjoyed their dinner outside.

So its been a while since my last update, and a heap has been going on.  The main holdup on the updates is the breakdown of the home computer.  Without a useful device to get new photos up,  I stopped posting anything at all.

So here goes with recent changes.

Our little man is now walking, wish we had some video, and hopefully a new phone (soon) will allow me to record some and put it up.  But he has the drunken walker stagger now and can not only balance himself, but also now has the ability to carry things from one side of the room over to you.

There has been some painting going on around the house, and the little dude has been a trooper and sleeping for a good bulk of the time that we have needed him to, allowing the transformation to occur much easier.

But the most recent development is a new tooth, thats 4 on the top and 2 on the bottom… But along with this recent tooth comes a cold that has left the little dude upset and not sleeping that great.

We had the first monthly friends BBQ last weekend, and it was great to see the kids actually able to play together, apart from the couple of little ones, but it won’t be long until there is a game of cricket or footy being played with all the kids involved.

Christmas is only 6 weeks away, so plans for heaps of food and pressies will be taking priority, but theres still some painting to go before there, and construction of the new BBQ area.

If there is anything else, then I can’t remember..  But I’ll try and take some new photos, so that when we get the puter back I’ll have some to show.

After a long hiatus, the group has finally got its a into g and is now having monthly BBQs.  The first of which we were lucky enough to host.

Lots of kids (and big kids) makes this arvo’s really fun, and I can’t wait until the boys are a little bit bigger so we can pull out the backyard cricket or footy.

A trip down to the beach on a hot day was in order, and lots of photos was the result.
