The Purcells put on great weather for a day at the Zoo the celebrate Harrison’s Birthday.  Mum was unable to come with us as he had to work on Saturday, but the boys packed up the car and headed over to the Zoo.

Lachie is at a good age now to go exploring all the animals, but we sort of got caught up at the party so much that when it was time to head off to check out the sights and sounds of the zoo the little man was too tired to really enjoy it.  We did get in a lap of most of the big animals, but I’m not sure how much Lachie got to see.

As usual it was a great day, and all the kids had a ball.

Lachie’s 2nd birthday party was at home on the 6th of September.

A great turn out of family and friends had a big BBQ in the back yard, while lots of presents were being un-wrapped inside.

Lachie has is now really understanding the whole present thing, and evertime someone new turned up, he ran up to them and grabbed the present.  He would then turn tail and try and fine somewhere to sit down to tear it open, but lucklily mum or dad were on hand to direct him back to the new arrivals to ensure that he gave them a cuddle and thanked them for their gift before shredding the wrapping paper.

I know it’s christmas when I’m posting this, but eventually I have got back to update the website.  I’ll try and get as many updates and photos up this arvo while the little man sleeps.

March has come and gone again, and Kim had her birthday.  A small group of friends attended, and the boys enjoyed their dinner outside.

Lachie and Dads birthdays a couple of weeks ago, a new baby for the Purcells.

Then we’ve got Kevin, Katy and who knows how many others in the next few weeks, its birthday season.

In amongst them all Uncle Glen gets to turn 30 also.  Last weekend we went down to geelong to have dinner and wish him a Happy Birthday, and it doesn’t get much better as a birthday present for him than the Hawks in the grand final.

So Happy Birthday to Glen, and to all that have theirs at this time of year.

Just 2 weeks after a big party at home for Lachies 1st birthday, the party rug was pulled out again to celebrate Dad’s 30th birthday.

Everyone was there and a great night was had by all.  The first set of pikers went to bed around 3:30 while the rest were able to make it through to 5am.

As with the bike we gave lachie a couple more presents early so that he had the fun of ripping open the presents himself.
