Easter this year was lots of fun, Lachie really got into the idea of hunting around for eggs and got wayyyy to many.

We then headed down to Grandpa’s place for a BBQ lunch, and more egg hunting.

Easter Monday was too good of a day to waste it sitting inside, so seeing as we had 2 kids and time to kill, we decided to pack the picnic basket and head over to Lilydale Lake.

It seems this was a common idea.  The car park was full and there were people everywhere, kayaks on the lake, joggers, dogs, bikes, lots of kids in the park and heaps of familys down there for BBQ’s.

The play park there is cool, and by the time we go inside there were not many kids around and so we got free run of the equipment.

Jordie was with us and so we had a massive easter hunt.  The bunny spend a couple of hours on Saturday night making up a set of cards, each one was at a different place in the house and showed the location of a few hidden eggs.  At each location was the next card leading to the next set of eggs.

20 cards later and we ended at the Microwave and all the eggs were found.

Lachie still doesn’t really know whats going on, but was happy to trapse around the house following Jordie on the hunt.
